Welcome to the Giessenbach hunting area, located directly above Seefeld in Tyrol. Nestled in the impressive mountains up to 2,200 m above sea level, this area offers a unique opportunity for nature-loving hunters to combine alpine hunting with comfortable living in the chalet.

Whether you are a passionate solo hunter or part of a family with different interests – our offer is aimed at everyone who appreciates nature, peace and quality. Experienced and local hunters will accompany you on your experience.

Your stay at Chalet Bergliebe

During your hunting stay, you will stay in the Chalet Poolblick. The chalet in Seefeld is only 10 minutes away from the hunting area and offers maximum comfort.

The special thing: Family members or companions who do not hunt themselves also get their money’s worth: Access to the adjacent Hotel Mountains with wellness area, pool, saunas and massages offers relaxation and variety – a perfect mix of alpine nature experience and high-quality holiday feeling.

Frequently asked questions about hunting in Tyrol

No. You need a valid hunting license from your home country and a Tyrolean hunting guest card – we would be happy to organize this for you.

Yes, provided you have an EU firearms pass. Alternatively, we would be happy to provide you with a rental weapon including ammunition.

The hunt is guided. A local hunter will accompany you on your stalking tours.

Red deer, roe deer and chamois can be harvested in accordance with the current hunting seasons and within the framework of the shooting plan.

The main hunting seasons for chamois are between August and December, for deer (Cl. I) between August and mid-November. We would be happy to advise you individually depending on your wishes.

Yes. The game meat can either be processed by a game butcher in Leutasch or taken over as a whole (with blanket) for a fee.

The hunting prices depend on the type of game and class (e.g. from €50 for roe deer to €3,500 for deer Cl. I). Accommodation prices can be found on our main page – or contact us for a tailor-made hunting package.

Absolutely. The Chalet Bergliebe – Poolblick offers comfort and relaxation for up to 6 people, with sauna, living area and access to wellness & breakfast in the nearby hotel.

The area is a few minutes’ drive from the chalet. Depending on the weather and vehicle, you can drive your own off-road vehicle or we can organize the transfer.

Yes. Multi-day stays are ideal for stalking in the morning and evening and enjoying wildlife watching in peace.

The entrance to the Giessenbach hunting area is located at the coordinates 47°22’36.0”N 11°14’14.2”E and is clearly visible by a sign with an inverted wine glass. The parking lot directly in front of the railway tracks is subject to a fee and can be paid conveniently via the EasyPark app or in cash.
